TNBA4S at the Track

We ventured to Lowe´s Motor Speedway for some holiday cheer and networking for our December Christmas lunch event.

Members enjoyed a FREE meal and van ride around the track, courtesy of TNBA4S. We learned that some people even live at the track year round or camp out in RV´s in the infield. With an incline of 33% Lowe´s track is one of the best in the nation.

Thank you also to Jennifer Buckley with Richard Petty Driving Experience for allowing some of us to enjoy a "reality" joy ride around the track. With speeds up to 165 mph we were gripping the sides of the seat, but we wouldn´t trade it for anything. . Five lucky riders won a Richard Petty Driving Experience ride-along from our business card drawing. Another also rode along with experienced race car drivers at speeds up to 165 mph! Some of the winners were: Mariellen Auer, Jason Benham, Larry York and Felecia Harris.

Many gifts were given away including 2009 Golf Course calendars, 365 Days of Sports Inspiration desk calendars, and Joe Gibb's, Racing To Win audio books to all in attendence. Special thanks to Craig Utt with Axis Marketing Group for donating a $75 gift card to one of Charlotte´s best restaurants. William Wilson, a member of TNBA4Sports won. Enjoy dinner on us!

Among the laughs and jokes, we welcome some new members as well as new guests

Viper Contest Winner

Congratulations to Mariellen Auer with Auer Agency for winning a day with her very own VIPER in the TNBA4Sport´s first referral contest. Mariellen referred several business opportunities to other TNBA4Sports members in the past few months. Other drawings will take place in February, April, and June for use of the VIPER. One can only enter the drawing by making referrals to other members. If you have a referral write it down on one of the TNBA4Sports referral slips and turn it in to Warren Shinn at a meeting. Thanks to Velocity Auto Couture.

How did you get involved in TNBA4S? I Came to TNBA as a guest of Warren's. Was very impressed that the members there are actually DOING business with each-other, are active in the business community and in community service. I love the attitude - professional, but not too uptight.

So what sports have you played or been involved in? "I knew a guy, who knew a guy, who once......" Season ticket holder, section 309 @ Turner Field since '97.
